Sacred Heart House of Denver is a community out reach program that offers housing stabilization resources to women struggling with homelessness. This Denver, Colorado based organization was founded in 1980 with a mission of eliminating homelessness and empowering women to become self sufficient. Their Housing Stabilization Program offers transitional housing, clothing closet, food bank, transportation, case management, life skills, and parenting workshops. Referrals will be given for resources outside their scope of care, including employment education, job training and placement, health care, childcare, and counseling. Their Follow Up Program offers mentorship, furniture, household goods, monthly newsletter, problem solving skills, resources, holiday help and emergency food. Their Transitional Housing Program is available to graduates of their housing stabilization and follow up programs and offers affordable housing for mothers working to improve their lives through education or job training.
