Serenity House of Atlanta Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit organization which provides wrap-around services to vulnerable populations. Their mission is to offer housing opportunities and ongoing support services to individuals experiencing homelessness and those at risk of housing emergencies due to various barriers. Serenity House of Atlanta Ministries is focused on individuals who require long-term residential services on their pathway to self-sufficient living. The housing community is designed for individuals who are transitioning from highly controlled residential situations, including treatment centers and/or incarceration. Serenity House of Atlanta Ministries offers a controlled and stable environment to support these individuals during full reintegration into the community. Residents receive structure and support. All residents must also maintain employment or actively seek employment in order to remain in the community. All interested individuals must first partake in an intake meeting with staff to determine individual needs and eligibility. During this meeting, individuals also receive information about required meetings, group activities and coursework. The organization recommends approximately 3 to 6 months in the program for maximum success.
