Temple University Community Relations Office

The Office of Community Affairs works hard to be a central support space for community engagement at Temple University. By supporting community service and volunteering in the Temple community, coordinating and collaborating with community-based organizations, and offering direct services to community members, the Office of Community Affairs acts as a bridge to the numerous resources that Temple University has to offer. The office promotes adult education opportunities for those in and around Temple University, as well as community engagement to foster strong connections between individuals and the resources available to them. Temple University also partners with professional, employment and adolescent development organizations to ensure that individuals have access to the resources they need to succeed. Community Health Workers is a program which assists individuals who face barriers to medical care and health services by connecting trained professionals with high-risk, low-income patients in a clinical setting. For more information about specific programs or available services, visit the Community Relations Office in person or contact them through their website.
