The RIDGE Project is a faith based, nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and improving the lives of families throughout the state of Ohio. Their programs are designed to reach into the prisons and offer freedom to the incarcerated people. The RIDGE Project aims to serve our community, state, and nation by reaching out to struggling families, youth, and individuals. TYRO is a program created by the founders of the RIDGE project. It is a holistic, multi-faceted character-building program designed to strengthen individuals and families. TRYO includes additional programs, including the TYRO Dads, TYRO Leadership, Couple Communication and TYRO Job Ethics Training (JET). TYRO Dads strengthens families to overcome life’s struggles by connecting participants with a case manager who will support them along their journey of self-improvement. TYRO Leadership teaches the life skills needed to be responsible parents, partners, better communicators, reliable employees, and positive role models.
