The Salvation Army ALM

The Salvation Army was established in 1865. It is an international movement, and an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. For more than a century, the Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers have offered emotional, social, and spiritual support to men and women who have lost the ability to take care of themselves and deal with their issues. Centers provide a clean, healthy atmosphere for residential housing, employment, group therapy, and individual therapy. Participants in the program are given the physical and spiritual support they need to reintegrate into society and find productive work. Many people who have received rehabilitation rejoin their families and go back to living everyday lives. The Salvation Army's services, programs, and operations are unique to the communities they serve. All requests regarding assistance should be directed to your local office.
