SoulFisher Ministries is a faith based organization that supports justice involved individuals and those at risk of incarceration. Their core programming includes to educational projects, one for young people and one for adults. Educate Now to Achieve Later is a youth oriented educational program that offers after school tutoring focused on literacy and closing gaps in order to give participants the best chance at success in school. This helps to set them up for financial stability and additional success in higher education. Adult General Academic Program of Education offers educational opportunities to currently and formerly incarcerated individuals. The goal of the program is to lower recidivism rates and act as a pathway to permanent reintegration in the community. One subsection of Adult General Academic Program of Education is a transitional house for women which offers stable living to those returning to the community after incarceration or treatment for substance abuse.
