UMOM New Day Centers has served those experiencing housing crises in the Phoenix, Arizona community for more than fifty years. Their mission is to offer hope, temporary shelter and supportive housing services to end homelessness in the greater Phoenix area. The organization has the capacity to serve almost 700 individuals, some in family shelter units and some in women's housing centers. In addition to temporary shelter, UMOM New Day Centers operates more than 500 affordable housing spaces in the great Phoenix area. Those experiencing housing emergencies may be eligible for immediate shelter, job support and financial services. Support services include an assessment of potential barriers to permanent housing, educational and workforce development courses, family services for children, housing and support for individuals from all walks of life.
