Under HIS Construction (UHC) is a faith-based nonprofit organization that provides support services to disadvantaged people in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. Both men and women are helped to achieve a better future by living drug free and law abiding lifestyles. Under HIS Construction is on a mission to minimize recidivism, boost confidence, and develop a more stable society because they believe everyone deserves an opportunity to build a better life through education, hard work, and responsibility. Support services include housing, education, and career development opportunities. Participants of the program work to become valuable and productive community members by learning to live out Christ-like character, and breaking the destructive cycle of drug addiction, crime, and incarceration. Participants are taught to seek God first, study God's Word, and serve the community attentively. Effective reintegration into the community can be achieved by giving second chances to men and women who might otherwise be lost to drugs, prisons, or death.
