The Will County Public Defender's Criminal Division is located in Joliet, Illinois. With one Public Defender, attorneys, and other supporting staff, the office ensures that every accused citizen, regardless of financial resources, receives zealous and effective criminal representation as mandated by the United States and Illinois Constitutions. Employees of the Will County Public Defender's Office accept all appointments from the Judiciary of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit and provide competent and professional legal services to the indigent citizens of Will County while adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct. In addition, the office strives to protect the fundamental rights, liberties, and dignity of each person whose case has been entrusted to them.
