The Homeboy Hotline

Homeboy Hotline is a community based organization founded to assist individuals returning to the community after incarceration. Their unique focus centers on the first 72 hours after release, which is sometimes the most crucial time to connect justice impacted individuals with support networks. Despite its name, Homeboy Hotline is not gender specific and offers support for all individuals regardless of race, sex, gender, citizenship or class. Their goal is to improve communication between justice involved individuals and potential employers. The Homeboy Hotline website also provides a database of resources for individuals exiting incarceration in California, Texas, New Jersey, New York, Arkansas, Arizona and Georgia. The organization understands that reentry needs extend beyond employment, so they partner with local organizations that offer educational opportunities, mental health support and recovery services for those with chemical dependence. For more information about specific services in your area, or help accessing other support organizations, individuals should contact the Homeboy Hotline directly.
