Archdiocese of Indianapolis Corrections Ministry

Archdiocese of Indianapolis Corrections Ministry offers reentry programs to individuals returning to the community after incarceration. It is common experience to have basic needs such as housing, food, clothing, employment, and healthcare go unmet. These faith-based programs are critical for the well-being of justice impacted people and the community to which they return. Parishes help these men and women by welcoming them and providing for material, spiritual, and emotional assistance. In addition to reentry assistance, the Office of Corrections Ministry coordinates sacramental pastoral care for Catholics who are incarcerated in the prisons and jails within the boundaries of the Archdiocese. An updated list of prison facilities they serve can be found on their website, as well as more information regarding Catholic points of contact, general information about programs, and federal and Indiana Department of Corrections maps to provide general location of the facilities. Contact Archdiocese of Indianapolis Corrections Ministry directly for more information on their services.
