Ashunti Residential Management Systems, Inc.

Ashunti Residential Management Systems is a faith-based nonprofit committed to serving individuals experiencing housing emergencies. Their mission is to assist those who face barriers to independent living due to mental health disorders, chronic health issues and/or involvement with the justice system. The organization operates three separate housing facilities for those without a home. Nefertiti is available to single women; Adom is available to single men; Imani House Independent is available to those with families. Each of these housing communities allows residents to live for up to twenty-four months. During this time, they have access to ongoing support services designed to help residents achieve sustainable, independent living. Eligible residents include formerly incarcerated individuals, those with HIV/AIDS, and survivors of domestic and/or sexual abuse. Most residents encapsulate two or more of these barriers.
