M.O.R.E.
Description
M.O.R.E. is a faith based program dedicated to supporting men returning to the community after incarceration or treatment. The mission of the organization is to offer housing, employment, mentorship, and guidance in targeted areas of need in a Christian centered environment so men have the best chance at successfully transitioning from corrections facilities to the community as healthy and responsible citizens. The program is centered on a 30-day discipleship during which participants work directly with a spiritual mentor to develop the habits and mindsets necessary for Christian living. They also receive support pursuing a GED and vocational training that will help them to enter the workforce. In order to participate in the program, individuals must agree to the mutual M.O.R.E. Covenant in which the organization promises to support participants in specified programs, while participants agree to adhere to the rules of the program and residential community.
