VOA Oregon CourtCare Program

VOA Oregon CourtCare Program is a project operated by Volunteers of America Oregon to support justice involved parents. CourtCare is free to parents and offers a drop-in childcare opportunity for kids ages six weeks to ten years. The facility is situated in downtown Portland’s Multnomah County Courthouse. CourtCare, a project developed out of the Multnomah Bar Association, is maintained by Volunteers of America Oregon and receives most of its funding from the Multnomah Bar Foundation, the Oregon Judicial Department and Multnomah County. Parents who would like to make use of CourtCare must be conducting business in the courthouse and remain at the courthouse while their children are under the care of the organization. CourtCare is a fully-staffed and certified childcare facility. It provides a safe, supportive setting and a broad range of enriching, age-appropriate opportunities for children to enjoy while their parents attend to personal and legal matters at the courthouse.
