JUMPSTART is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing reentry support services to formerly incarcerated individuals. Through community partnerships, JUMPSTART address the spiritual, educational, employment, healthcare, housing, and family relationship needs of justice impacted people. The Inside Program is a 40 week program that offers faith-based services inside 16 South Carolina prison facilities, including women's prisons. The volunteers provide a curriculum focused on transforming lives through worship, fellowship, discipleship, mentorship, serving others, living with purpose, and reentry education. The Outside Program provides a safe and stable environment for people transitioning after incarceration. This 12 month program offers low-cost, safe and stable housing, individual case management, access to physical, mental and dental healthcare, transportation to service providers, employment assistance, financial stability training, a recovery program for chemical dependency, individual mentoring, community engagement, healthy recreational activities and spiritual growth opportunities.
