Description
CONNECT Ministries is a faith-based organization that provides community services and advocates for youth, the homeless, formerly incarcerated, and veterans. This organization offers in-house services, network referrals, dissemination of information, "gap" programming, community organization, resumes, job readiness, employment searches, housing services and referrals for individuals who need help. The ministries' Urban Cowboy Restoration is a reentry program that offers a plan to address issues specific to formerly incarcerated people and Veterans. Through various partnerships, community relationships and referrals, this organization connects people released from prison and the military to their affiliates specific to the needs of these people. On-staff Life Coaches and community volunteers mentor these men throughout this process. The reentry program aims to reduce recidivism, improve public safety, provide permanent housing and employment and transform individuals and the community. Additionally, the CONNECTWORKS4U is a Workforce Development Training Program that assists low income families and individuals seeking employment opportunities.
