Mission: St. Louis

Description

Mission: St. Louis is a community based organization offering a broad range of support services to underserved individuals. Their vision is to improve the St. Louis community through targeted and comprehensive support programs that address the many barriers that some individuals face as a result of poverty, generational trauma or criminal conviction. Staff take a three tiered approach: education, employment, and community. By focusing their attention on these specific areas, Mission: St. Louis hopes to assist individuals as they work to disrupt the cycle of incarceration, overcome the barriers they face as a result of past actions, and reconnect with the community in meaningful ways. Beyond Jobs and Each1 offer vocational services, vital experience and assistance connecting with employers who are dedicated to supporting individuals regardless of criminal conviction. Beyond Education intervenes with at risk youth, getting them back on the path to graduation and giving them the best chance at avoiding incarceration.
