New Horizons Ministries, Inc.

New Horizons Ministries, Inc. is a faith-based organization that works to break the cycle of generational incarceration by ministering to prisoners and their children, so that families can find the freedom to live their God-designed destiny. They provide Christ-centered homes for children born to incarcerated women. Their program provides a christ-Centered Home, connection with the Child’s Mother, stable Relationships with Household Members, emotional Security that Cannot be Taken for Granted. They also provide childcare and support to female prisoners; provide religiously focused rehabilitation and prevention programs for incarcerated and at-risk youth and adults; provide programs and experiences to foster spiritual and personal growth. Their prison ministry services include full-time Chaplaincy Services, annual seminars and special programs. Women leaving prison get help in their program to have a successful transition into society. Those reentry services include reunification with her child, direct Access to Caring Program Administrators, Practical Teaching on Parenting and Successful Living, Housing and Work in a Healthy Community.
