Makana O Ke Akua

Makana O Ke Akua is a nonprofit organization founded and maintained to support men recovering from chemical dependence and substance abuse. Their mission is to function as a charitable organization which provides direct assistance for men committed to the recovery process as a means to address homelessness, low employment, crime and addiction in the community. They believe strongly in the power of healing and community support on the pathway to permanent recovery. Makana O Ke Akua currently operates twelve structured and sober living spaces at affordable rates to men recovering from chemical dependence. All residents commit to abiding by house rules and participating in life development work to ensure their success in recovery.
