Iron Sharpens Iron Ministries

Iron Sharpens Iron Ministries is a faith-based organization founded to assist formerly incarcerated men during reentry. The organization operates several living communities for recently released individuals and graduates of their reentry program. Iron Sharpens Iron Ministries believes that formerly incarcerated individuals face significant barriers to reintegration. Staff and volunteers support these individuals through compassion and Christian guidance to instill hope and help them on the pathway toward healing. Men who are returning to the community can apply for residence in one of the Iron Sharpens Iron Ministries transitional housing units. Those who complete the program are eligible for extended stay in one of the graduate living communities so long as they abide by community rules. In addition to residential services, Iron Sharpens Iron Ministries assists formerly incarcerated men in obtaining government assistance and documentation, enrolling in educational programs and reentering the workforce. They believe that these comprehensive services offer men the best chance at permanent reintegration into the community.
