Marion County Reentry Program
Description
Marion County Reentry Program is a state-run program that provides support for individuals exiting the corrections system. The goal of the program is to offer services that offer all individuals the best chance at permanent reentry into the Marion County community. These services include treatment and recovery services for individuals experiencing crisis or chemical dependence, as well as assistance accessing housing programs and reentering the workforce. In order to receive services, individuals must meet specific criteria. First, individuals must have been residents of Marion County at the time of conviction and remain residents of Marion County throughout the program. Individuals must also be eligible for early release through the Community Transitions program or parole, have no record of violence and no conviction for sex-based crimes. The program serves formerly incarcerated men and women. For more information about eligibility or to begin the intake process, individuals should use the contact information provided on the website.
