House of Pearls
Description
House of Pearls is a faith based nonprofit organization dedicated to offering compassion to community members in crisis. Their services are intended for women in the community who are recovering from chemical dependence and seeking permanent, positive change. All women in the program learn important life skills and work hard to address the underlying factors that contribute to addiction, including personal responsibility and effective conflict management. Participants also learn basic cooking skills, receive instruction on budgeting and assistance with job skills development. Some women in the program are escaping abusive or traumatic situations, and staff at House of Pearls are uniquely qualified to ensure that these women feel safe, supported and understood during the recovery process. Many participants also enter the program straight from state run facilities, treatment centers and mental health facilities. For more information about services or intake, individuals should contact the organization directly using the information provided on the website.
