Partnerships for Re-Entry Programming

Partnerships for Re-Entry Programming is a division of the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Their expressed mission is to provide wraparound services to help rehabilitate and support formerly incarcerated individuals. The program consists of four service areas: developing positive and productive mindsets, vocational development and job placement, social services referrals, and restorative justice counseling. Staff in the program combine their efforts to ensure that all participants develop the necessary skills to live independent lives and disrupt the cycle of incarceration. Partnerships for Re-entry Programming works with community partners, including: Division of Correction, The Enterprise Foundation, Mayor's Office on Criminal Justice, Division of Parole and Probation, Baltimore City Police Department, and Community Development Corporations. Together, these partners support individuals who are reentering the community after incarceration, giving all individuals the best chance at successfully reintegrating.
