A Brighter Way is a community based organization focused on supporting individuals as they return to the community after incarceration. Their goal is to support the reintegration process by facilitating strong relationships, mentorship and mindsets that emphasize successful reentry. The organization approaches mentorship as a method to improve individual behaviors and habits, but also as a way to address stigma in the community that limits the success of justice involved individuals. By focusing on both of these aspects simultaneously, A Brighter Day hopes to create a more welcoming, supportive community for formerly incarcerated individuals while also giving participants within the program the best chance at permanent reintegration.
