The Abbeville and Greenwood County Public Defender's Office is located in Greenwood, South Carolina. Abbeville and Greenwood counties are part of the Eighth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina. With one Circuit Public Defender, one Part-Time Assistant Public Defender in Abbeville County and one Chief Public Defender, three Public Defenders and one Part-Time Assistant Public Defender in the Greenwood County, they represent defendants in criminal court who are financially indigent.
