Ace Program

The Accelerated Community Entry (ACE) Program is a collaborative approach to reentry for justice impacted individuals. The ACE Program is an accelerated, intensive program aimed at helping individuals released from federal custody reestablish themselves in the community as they embark on a supervised release monitored by the U.S. Probation Office and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. The roles of the ACE team are defined for each member, and the group acts as a team working toward the same goal of the long-term success of the offender. The ACE program is a two-year program; the first year involves intensive supervision, with each participant's progress monitored at monthly court hearings. In addition, participants are required to seek or maintain employment, attend drug and alcohol counseling, and obey the law. Second-year participants are no longer required to participate in monthly court hearings but remain on supervised release for another year. If a participant completes this year successfully, they are rewarded with a recommendation for early discharge from supervision. You should contact the Accelerated Community Entry program directly for further assistance.
