ACPP, Inc. ( Alternative Community Penalties Program) is a non-profit charitable organization, which operates in Gaston, Cleveland, and Lincoln Counties of North Carolina. Their mission is to design, develop, and implement programs within the incarcerated populations of those counties, which alter criminogenic behavior through education, substance abuse treatment, employment, counseling, and the building of citizenship skills. The accomplishment of this mission will result in an enhanced quality of life and increased safety for all citizens. They also offer faith-based programs and court services. They also have a restorative justice center which is a substance abuse treatment center that provides both intensive and regular outpatient services free of charge to incarcerated people assigned by the Courts.
