The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation helps hundreds of Alaskans with disabilities prepare for, get and keep good jobs. Alaska division of vocational rehabilitation's mission is to assist individuals with disabilities to obtain and maintain employment. They believe in the empowerment value of employment in an individual’s life, honoring and respecting each individual’s strengths, skills, choices, abilities and cultural identity, developing strong partnerships with tribal vocational rehabilitation programs, schools, job-centers and centers for independent living, and delivering high quality vocational rehabilitation services for the community. The overall goal of this organization is to prepreg the needed individuals with the proper guidance that will help them excel in the workforce.
