Alaska Immigration Justice Project

Alaska Immigration Justice Project is a nonprofit program run by the Alaska Institute for Justice that is dedicated to protecting the human rights of immigrants and refugees. Founded in 2005, the goal of Alaska Institute for Justice has always been to provide statewide comprehensive immigration legal services, as well as language interpretation and translation services throughout Alaska. Alaska Immigration Justice Project prioritizes low cost legal services for cases involving citizenship applications, work permits, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, victims of human trafficking, immigrant crime victims, and individuals seeking asylum by feeling persecution in their native countries. They also serve as an important Alaskan resource for health care providers, social services, state officials and more. The Alaska Institute for Justice’s aims to ensure that immigrants are aware of their unique legal options and provide low cost legal representation.
