Angels of Mercy Ministries is a faith-based organization dedicated to serving women experiencing housing insecurity. They uplift women who are displaced due to domestic violence, financial insecurity or other mitigating factors that make self-sufficient living difficult. Angels of Mercy Ministries believes that the key element of supporting these women is compassionate fellowship informed by bible-based teachings. Staff and volunteers understand the connection between housing insecurity and incarceration. They hope to disrupt the cycle of recidivism among women by supporting them on a pathway from homelessness to financial independence and self-sufficient living. Angels of Mercy Ministries operates a transitional home for women reentering the community after incarceration, as well as resources like access to food, shelter and clothing. All residents participate in bible study, counseling in mental health and treatment for chemical dependence.
