Ark Dothan
Ark Dothan is a nonprofit ministry in Dothan, Alabama. They designed a residential program for men and women seeking to overcome homelessness, addiction, or achieve a successful transition from prison. Its mission is to nurture humanity's total needs and guide individuals to discover their God-given purpose and live out that very purpose. This is a 12-month residential program, and it is rooted in a bible-based curriculum. The first six months are free. The Ark will provide room, board and all necessities at no cost. During this time, residents are required to attend daily classes. In addition, they will receive mental health counseling, engage in duties on campus and obtain their GED. The goal at the end of their program is for residents to transform their lives. Upon graduation, residents will be required to pay $108 per week for their stay. During this phase, we assist residents with enrolling in college, technical or vocational school, obtaining their driver's license, ID, job training, job placement, budget planning and more.
