Back2Work
Back2Work is a vocational program sponsored and operated by the St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho nonprofit organization. Back2Work is specifically designed to assist individuals who face barriers to entering the workforce due to lack of experience or gaps in employment. All individuals over the age of 18 who are currently unemployed or working for minimum wage may participate in the program. Back2Work recommends access to reliable transportation in order to participate in the program. Qualifying individuals receive direct assistance cultivating a professional resume, interview coaching and preparation, financial literacy coaching and life skills development. Staff and volunteers also work with community employers to connect participants directly with available job opportunities. To begin services, individuals must first contact the program and schedule an intake interview at the Back2Work office. After the interview process, qualifying individuals begin work with a mentor who will assist them throughout the job development and employment process.
