Brattleboro Community Justice Center

Description

Brattleboro Community Justice Center is an organization that assists justice-impacted individuals with reentry, restorative justice and justice alternatives. The mission of this organization is to empower individuals in the Brattleboro area to maintain community well-being using restorative justice principles, practices, and programs. They work with individuals who are trying to rebuild and eliminate past traumas. As part of their reentry initiative, a team of trained community volunteers from Circle of Support and Accountability (COSA) meet with individuals recently released from prison. The group helps with challenges like finding a place to live, finding employment, healing relationships, and building new ones. BCJC also assists with resource navigation and provides one-on-one support to individuals recently released from incarceration. Other services include monthly Restorative Justice Panels, justice alternative programs, restorative schools, and community forums. Contact Brattleboro Community Justice Center directly to get answers to your questions, to volunteer, or to learn more about their programs.
