Brighton Center, Inc.

The Brighton Center is a community service organization in Newport, Kentucky. They address issues that prevent people from becoming self-sufficient, remove the barriers they face, and create hope so that goals can be achieved and dreams realized. The Brighton Center offers a wide range of programs and services, including meeting basic needs, adult and early childhood education, workforce development, substance abuse recovery for women, affordable housing, financial education and counseling, youth services, and neighborhood-based programs. The mission of Brighton Center is to create opportunities for individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency through family support services, education, employment and leadership. The Center for Employment Training (CET) at the Brighton Center signed the Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act in July 2020 and continues to distribute funds.
