C.O.O.L. (Christ Over Our Life) Prison Ministry

C.O.O.L. (Christ Over Our Life) is a faith-based organization that serves incarcerated people in Texas through their Prison Ministry. C.O.O.L.'s objective is to encourage people to draw closer to God and develop a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Christ. In addition, their C.O.O.L. Re-Entry program offers a path to reentry into society and sober living for incarcerated people returning to society. At C.O.O.L.'s Christ-centered 12-Step recovery meetings, volunteers work with participants to address the root cause of their drug and alcohol addictions or co-dependency issues. C.O.O.L. volunteers serve in approximately 160 units across America and have the greatest amount of work concentrated in the state of Texas. They have reached 50 units in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (T.D.C.J.). C.O.O.L. ministries also helps men and women behind the walls stay connected by writing to them and teaching them their curriculum.
