CareSource Reentry Program

CareSource Re-Entry Program is a community based organization dedicated to reducing recidivism and breaking the cycle of incarceration. They are motivated by the knowledge that one in three justice involved individuals will return to prison within three years of release. To address this, staff at CareSource Re-Entry Program pairs individuals with Community Justice Liaisons. These liaisons first ensure that all clients have access to Medicaid services as soon as they return to the community. They also connect clients with social services in the community which provide job development services, life skills development and other vital services for successful reentry. Additionally, CareSource commits to covering the cost of expungement for qualifying individuals to help remove the barriers associated with having a criminal record in the community. For more information about specific services or to request the assistance of a Community Justice Liaison, individuals should contact CareSource Re-Entry Program directly using the information on this page.
