Center for Community Justice

Center for Community Justice provides services, advocacy and support to promote restorative justice practices in the community. Their goal is to offer sustainable pathways toward recovery and rehabilitation that improve the safety and equity of the community. Staff and volunteers work to empower justice involved individuals to take responsibility for their actions and recognize themselves as loved and valued members in the community. Center for Community Justice supports both survivors and justice involved individuals to ensure that restorative justice promotes healing for all parties involved. Ultimately, the organization believes that a restorative justice approach is vital to reducing recidivism rates in the community and encouraging positive behavior among those with criminal convictions. Services include: coaching and mentorship, mediation support, and the facilitation of programs that work to break the school-to-prison pipeline.
