Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition

Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition is a nonprofit organization that is working to reverse the trend of mass incarceration in the state of Colorado. Although formerly known as Colorado Prison Moratorium Coalition, they are now known as the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition as they have expanded their mission of ending mass incarceration to now include ending overuse of the criminal justice system in general. This compassionate agency works alongside individuals and organizations on a broader scale to collectively advocate for the reduction of the overreaching and overstepping practices of the Colorado criminal justice system, while increasing community safety and health services. Their primary areas of focus for this coalition include sentence reform, drug policy, racial injustice, reintegration failures, women in prison, incarceration impact on families, and eliminating for profit prisons in the state of Colorado.
