Community Counseling Center is a nonprofit organization offering treatment services for individuals with mental health disorders. Their mission is offer evidence based outpatient care for indigent community members who are experiencing emotional disturbances, family disruption, communication difficulties, conflict management issues, psychiatric struggles, substance abuse disorders, and acute and chronic behavioral health challenges. While their primary services are focused on outpatient support, Community Counseling Center also offers transitional living services for individuals who require more significant or ongoing support as they work through more intensive or chronic disorders. The center is currently constructing a residential facility for inpatient services and housing for individuals in recovery. The core of Community Counseling Center, though, is treatment for behavioral disorders and/or substance abuse. Staff hope that addressing these issues will help ensure that participants have the best opportunity for independent living.
