Franklin Grand Isle Restorative Justice Center

The Franklin Grand Isle Restorative Justice Center (FGIRJC) is a community-based organization that provides highly successful restorative justice programs, effective education, prevention resources and valuable intervention services. FGIRJC serves people in both Franklin and Grand Isle Counties in Vermont. The Center's Transitional Housing program is specifically geared towards men being released from incarceration through the Department of Corrections that need supportive and stable housing. Residents have regular access to a consultant that works individually with participants to assist with employment placement, education development and enrollment, referrals to vocational training and resources, and ongoing support to assist with long-term career development. FGIRJC's Pretrial Services Program supports people struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues to quickly connect them to treatment options during the pretrial period. Safe Driving is an educational program designed to teach participants about the long-term consequences and impact of distracted or impaired driving.
