Description
Freedom Ministries is a faith based organization committed to supporting families and individuals of Lawrence County, Missouri. Staff and volunteers have provided spiritual guidance, mentorship and compassion to underserved individuals for nearly thirty years and remain dedicated to their mission of restoring lives and renewing faith. Among other things, Freedom Ministries operates the Freedom Dream Center, a residential program to assist those in recovery as they work toward sobriety and self-sufficient living. Residents at Freedom Dream Center receive a combination of life development training, educational opportunities and targeted counseling for overcoming the underlying issues that make sobriety difficult. Those who request services must agree to all house rules, including unannounced inspections for drugs and other illicit items, maintaining sobriety and attending all required ministry services. All residents further agree to the code of conduct required during religious gatherings and mandatory study time. For more information or to apply, visit the organization website.
