Holy Cross Services

Holy Cross Services is a faith-based organization that has served children and families in Michigan for more than 75 years. Their mission is to offer support and social services to children and families in the child welfare system. The organization specializes in self improvement and trauma recovery for young people and their loved ones who have entered the welfare system, as well as supporting community members to end their experiences of homelessness. Although these types of support have significant overlap, Holy Cross Services runs their programs through three divisional arms: Division of Family-Based Care and Youth Transition, Division of Residential Care and Family Healing, and Division of Housing and Community Advocacy. Each of these divisions trains staff and volunteers to address the specific needs of children and their families depending on their current situation.
