Hope Ministries provides food, clothing, shelter and life recovery support for men, women and children in desperate need. With seven ministry centers around Des Moines, their goal is to provide rescue, recovery and restoration to change people's lives forever. Hope Ministries' mission is to rescue those who are homeless, hungry, abused or addicted, providing opportunities for hope, recovery and restoration through the love of Jesus Christ. They offer rescue services like safe shelter, nutritious meals, free clothing, and more. In addition, their long-term life recovery programs are meant to break the cycles of homelessness, abuse, addiction, incarceration and chronic poverty. Every day they meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of men, women and children. Hope Ministries offers free shelter for men as well as a free one-year residential life recovery program to help men struggling with homelessness, addiction, and a variety of other challenges as they work to rebuild their lives. Their free long-term life recovery programs for men, single women and mothers with children address the root causes of homelessness, chronic poverty, addiction and other life struggles so that residents can become productive members of society.
