Humility Homes and Services, Inc. is a community based organization dedicated to addressing the housing crisis in the greater Quad cities. As an organization, they are guided by the principle of radical acceptance, so staff are committed to serving individuals in need regardless of their background. Formerly incarcerated individuals and those exiting treatment centers for substance abuse or mental health crisis are welcome to apply for services. Additionally, Humility Homes and Services, Inc. is a housing first program; this means that they understand that a safe, stable home is an essential right all individuals, and all supplemental services are centered on the idea that clients must first and foremost have access to a home. Services offered by Humility Homes and Services, Inc. are trauma-informed. Staff are committed to helping all clients feel valued and respected, which is essential to helping trauma survivors feel trust in the organization.
