It Takes A Village Foundation Re-Entry Program is a community-based organization whose mission is to empower individuals re-entering society by giving them the knowledge, tools and resources needed to reduce mass incarceration and the likelihood of recidivism. The Reentry program is a free 8-day program that helps individuals who are re-entering society after incarceration. They will gain job readiness skills, interviewing skills, job certifications, and much more. Free transportation is also provided. The Foundation does referrals to help with alcohol and drug treatment, mental health treatment, housing and other needs. Through Destined to Succeed Employment Assistance Employment Agency, they offer referrals for employment opportunities. They also provide education referrals for those seeking to earn their high school diploma. In addition, the organization provides referrals to Destined to Succeed Institute for an entrepreneurial program, business start-ups, and credit repair for individuals interested in entrepreneurship. The program is for people getting out of prison or on probation/parole in the Racine and Kenosha areas. The courses are also offered online.
