JCS Affective Sober Living
Description
JCS Affective Sober Living is a nonprofit organization that offers support services and sober living housing environments to women serious about recovery. This faith based program helps women build a strong foundation that allows them the opportunity to recover from trauma and substance use disorders. JCS Affective Sober Living operates two houses in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area. Potential program participants must be sober for 30 days, remain drug and alcohol free for the duration of their stay, commit to a three month stay, demonstrate a clear dedication to recovery and live in harmony with other residents. All residents are required to attend school, work, or volunteer with a local organization no fewer than 20 hours each week. Additionally, they must attend weekly meetings and meet face-to-face with sponsors. No resident may have overnight guests, and all residents must be in the program for at least 30 days before they may receive an overnight pass.
