The King County Department of Public Defense (DPD) has a divisional office—The Defenders Association, located in Kent, WA. The mission of DPD is to represent indigent adults and children facing a loss of liberty. DPD is an independent voice that promotes justice and equity for its clients and advocates for their objectives, interests, and dignity.
