Lake Indigent Defense, LLP

Lake Indigent Defense, LLP works with the County of Lake for the provision of public defender services and is dedicated to providing the most diligent defense available. They provide legal advice to clients, draft legal documents for clients, and represent clients in legal negotiations and court proceedings such as lawsuits in felony charges, misdemeanor charges, juvenile defense, civil contempt, misdemeanor appeals and veterans court. A judge will make the determination of your eligibility for public defender services. They will make this decision based upon a financial application that will be submitted by you on your first court appearance. Services of Lake Indigent Defense are generally limited to financially strapped individuals who are accused of a crime, juveniles accused of a crime, and certain individuals charged with contempt of court.
