Life Changes, Inc. is a sober living community for individuals who are working toward permanent recovery from substance abuse. Their mission is to offer safety, shelter and support to individuals impacted by substance abuse, mental illness, incarceration, homelessness, human trafficking and/or domestic violence. Staff are trained to serve the unique needs of individuals in recovery, and they work hard to help every resident achieve their goal of permanent sobriety. Their New Beginnings program is a reentry program for those returning to the community from the detention center, through the parole office, or through the 184, 305 or 317 programs. This program offers residents a family centric model focused on peer support, as well as addressing the many barriers associated with reintegration. Upon graduating from the program, participants are considerably more equipped to live independently and with minimal risk of reoffense.
