Description
MASS Clinic coordinates with community partners to provide ongoing access to healthcare services at no cost to patients. The clinic serves uninsured individuals in Duval County through volunteer-based care. MASS Clinic collaborates with We Care clinics and other community organizations to offer the best public healthcare and non-emergency medical services possible regardless of income status. The clinic provides primary care services by appointment and can accommodate same-day appointments for individuals with irregular schedules. To be eligible for services, individuals must be a current resident of Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau or Baker County. They must also be uninsured and unable to obtain insurance. Household income must be less than 200% of the federal poverty level. In addition to primary care, the clinic is equipped to assist with certain chronic illnesses, including diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary disease and depression. Individuals may request a referral to a nearby hospital for services that MASS Clinic is not able to provide.
